Description
Embrace the Night Redux
The purpose of this image was for me to take an older deviation and "remake" it using tools and skills that I have learned since I made the original. I think there is some progression.

When I first saw this, I immediately knew it was a photo manipulation for some reason. I don't know if that's a bad thing - I never made a photo manip before. I personally don't think it's a bad thing because I recognized the medium of art.
Anyways, my only criticism for this is that the background seems off for the piece, unless it's like that for a metaphorical reason? What I suggest is to either use a lighter background or a background with a bit of a pattern or something. I'm not exactly sure what would work well for this, but I know the background just needs a bit of something and then it'll be perfect.
I really like the patterns on her legs! It's very cool. I also like the idea behind the angel wings, because she doesn't seem like the type to have them due to stereotypical reasons (that I don't believe in). So it was a really nice contrast.
